Boulware named to ESPN 150

T.L. Hanna junior linebacker Ben Boulware has been named to ESPN’s list of the top 150 high school football prospects in the country for the class of 2013.  Ben is listed as the #2 inside linebacker prospect in the country behind only Reuben Foster, the nation’s #2 overall prospect.  Boulware, who recently committed to play football and baseball at Clemson, led Hanna in tackles each of the past two seasons and was the team’s third leading tackler as a freshman.  Ben was selected as an All-American and will play in the Under Armour game in January, televised nationally by ESPN.

By the numbers: the NFHS reports that 1.1 million high school boys play football in the U.S. each year.

Hanna Receives State Gold Award for Academic Achievement

Section 59-18-1100 of the Education Accountability Act (EAA) established the Palmetto Gold and Silver Awards Program to give recognition to schools that attain high levels of absolute performance and schools that attain high rates of growth. Congratulations to TLH students, teachers, and our parents for fostering high achievement among the students who attend T. L. Hanna!
